a. Academic Performance

  • Class 10 (Matriculation):
    • The percentage of marks obtained in the Class 10 board examination (under the 10+2 system) will be a key component in preparing the merit list.
    • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Class 10 to qualify.
  • ITI Marks in Relevant Trade:
    • Equal weightage will be given to marks scored in the ITI certificate for the trade applied.
    • The ITI certificate must be issued by NCVT/SCVT.

b. Preparation of Merit List

  • A combined merit list will be prepared by averaging the percentages of marks obtained in Class 10 and the relevant ITI trade.
  • Higher marks in Class 10 and ITI will improve the chances of selection.
  • Separate merit lists may be prepared for each trade and division/workshop.

2. Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, the following criteria will be used to resolve the tie:

  1. Older Age: Preference will be given to candidates older in age.
  2. Alphabetical Order: If the tie persists, the names of candidates in alphabetical order will be considered.

3. Document Verification

Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will be called for document verification. During this process, candidates must produce original documents to prove their eligibility. The following points are crucial:

  • The document verification schedule will be communicated through the official website or via email/SMS.
